Tata Steel Announces Updated Colorcoat Prisma® Range
Exciting new additions to Tata Steel’s Colorcoat® portfolio
As the only Tata Steel Colorcoat® accredited distributor in the UK, we felt it was important to highlight some exciting new announcements around the Colorcoat Prisma® range, that will benefit the pre-finished steel market, and existing Capital Coated Steel customers in the future.
Lasting aesthetics, guaranteed to stand the test of time
Refreshed colour palette added to Colorcoat Prisma® range
With over 20 years of innovation and industry success with the Colorcoat Prisma® range, Tata Steel have announced the launch of a refreshed collection of its widely specified pre-finished steel, including re-imagined shades. The refreshed collection offers a comprehensive range of ‘Solid’, ‘Special Metallic’, ‘Sparkle’ and ‘Matt’ shades.
‘Seren’ range: New 65-micron three-layer colour selection
The announcement also includes the addition of new 65-micron three-layer ‘Seren’ colours, offering a selection of timeless, bold shades, including earthy and metallic options.
Repertoire® colour-matching service: bold, pigmented and personalised
Further to this, additional bright, pigmented colours are available via the bespoke Repertoire® colour-matching service, offering wide adaptability and personalisation (subject to minimum order quantity).
Ruv5 UV protection, RC5+ corrosion resistance & upgraded Solar Reflectance
The refreshed Colorcoat Prisma® range offers the highest level of protection against UV (Ruv5) and corrosion (RC5+). Tata Steel is also developing a small number of colours with an uprated Solar Reflectance Index [SRI] rating for reduced solar gain and improved building cooling.
Confidex® Guarantee duration increased on roof applications
The Colorcoat Prisma® range is underpinned by the Confidex® Guarantee – the most comprehensive pre-finished steel guarantee in Europe. The guarantee duration for all colours used on inland roof applications has been extended from 35 years up to 40 years.
