  • Wildlife Projects at Capital HQ

As part of our sustainability strategy, recent projects have included the addition of bird boxes and wildflowers to Capital HQ.

Just last week, we had a visit from Project Nestbox, a local social enterprise to add bird boxes to our garden.

We've also recently begun planting our wildflowers in the garden; some planters contain a wildflower mix with meadow grass, annual wildflowers and perennial wildflowers. The meadow grass in this mix helps to keep weeds at bay and will also provide a habitat for wildlife.

Bee-friendly species of flowers, such as cornflowers, tansies and poppies, have also been planted to give our very own bees some new plants to visit.
